The present invention relates to a high manganese steel plate having a high yield ratio and high strength, and a manufacturing method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the high manganese steel plate having a high yield ratio and high strength comprises: 0.05 to 0.40 wt% of carbon (C); 6 to 11.5 wt% of manganese (Mn); 0.5 to 3.5 wt% of aluminum (Al); 0.5 to 3 wt% of silicon (Si); 0.05 wt% or less of sulfur (S); 0.08 wt% or less of phosphorous (P); and the remaining consisting of Fe and other unavoidable impurities.
