A generator system or a wind power generation system facilitating electric power converter component replacement during maintenance is provided. In order to achieve the above-described object, a generator system includes a generator 2 having a stator having a stator winding 7 and a rotor 6 having a rotor winding 8 and arranged via a predetermined gap on a bore diameter side of the stator 5, an electric power converter 4 electrically connected to the rotor winding 7 and stored in the rotor 6, a base 18 arranged on a bore diameter side of the rotor 6 and has at least a part of the electric power converter 4 fixed thereto, and a supporting member 20 supporting the base 18 and fixed inside the rotor 6.
