The invention relates to a measuring and/or test device for measuring and/or estimating the quality and stability of power supply networks and to a method for measuring and/or estimating the quality and/or stability of power supply networks, wherein the measuring and/or testing device is designed as a device comprising a mains part and a unit having at least one AD converter circuit for the continuous scan, digitization and forwarding of at least voltage and/or frequency values of the mains voltage via an interface. These operations are carried out according to the inventive method that consists of: determining network measurement data in a measuring and/or test device which is connected to at least one phase of a power supply network, forwarding the measurement data to an internal microcontroller unit and/or an IT device via a first local data connection, processing and/or handling the data in the microcontroller unit and/or the IT device and providing the data with time stamp and location marking, forwarding the data to a computing center and/or a further IT device and/or a storage medium via a second data connection, evaluating the data in the computing center and/or at the energy consumer and initiating required adjustments and/or interventions.
