PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveying device capable of suppressing vibration of an adsorption separation unit during swinging and reducing torque during swinging, and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A swing mechanism 120 as swing means that swings a bracket 12 is provided at a downstream side in a sheet conveying direction. The swing mechanism 120 includes: a rack gear part 13 as a first drive transmission part formed at an edge part of each bracket 12 on the downstream side in the sheet conveying direction; and a pinion gear 15 as a second drive transmission member that is fixed to a rotary shaft 16 and engaged with the rack gear part 13, respectively. |
