A tape dispenser 100 mounted to a roll of tape 401 comprising: a cross member 102; first and second side members 110,111 attached to opposing side edges of the cross member 102; a shaft 114 coupled to the first and second side members 110,111 configured to pass through the roll of tape 401; a cutting portion 103 attached to a free edge of the cross member 102, having a cutting edge 104 curved in the cutting direction; and a spline 109 extending from a first surface of the cutting portion 103 and at least partially along a first surface of the cross member 102. The cutting edge 104 may comprise serrations 105, there may further be at least one serration 106 that protrudes from the cutting edge 104. The invention also relates to a method of manufacturing such a tape dispenser coupled to a roll of tape. |
