A grooming tool for use in grooming a sporting surface comprises a body. The body in turn comprises a front portion having a leading edge for contacting the sporting surface and a rear 5 portion which is angled with respect to the front portion such that the respective upper surfaces of the front and rear portions form a debris collecting channel. A handle is connected to the body and is operable for allowing an operator to push the body over the sporting surface such that when so operated debris lying on the sporting surface is collected in the debris collecting channel.
