Provided is a pneumatic tire (1) equipped, on the inside thereof, with a fastener (3) that has great attachment strength to the inner surface of the tire and is effective in fastening and maintaining a functional object over a long period. The pneumatic tire (1) comprises a fastener (3) mounted on the inner surface thereof, the fastener (3) being composed of at least two fastener constituent members and being one of a pair of fasteners (3) that can be separated into two, wherein: (a) the two or more fastener constituent members are secured with a rubber-covered fiber reinforcement material (7) sandwiched therebetween; (b) the mounting position of the fastener (3) is within a range in which the height (A) in the tire radial direction from a bead toe tip (61) to the center position (C) of the fastener (3) and the tire cross-sectional height (H) fulfill the relationship 0.05 ≤ A / H ≤ 0.04; and (c) the fiber reinforcement material(7) is formed by a plurality of fiber bundles arranged in at least one direction and the angle (minor angle θ) formed between at least one of the directions in which the fiber bundles are arranged and the tire circumferential direction is 30° ≤ θ ≤ 90°. |
