PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-water separation box which is installed on a gutter of a road side or a drainage passage from the gutter, for the purpose of preventing contamination of peripheral environment with an oil or the like leaked on a road surface.SOLUTION: In an oil-water separation box 1, a frame part block 3 including a vertical barrier wall 2f and a peripheral surface wall 2a of a plurality of precast concretes are stacked on a bottom part block 3d including the vertical barrier wall 2f in the peripheral surface wall, the peripheral surface wall 2a and a bottom surface wall 2e of the precast concrete, to provide two sets of box-like containers 2, being connected to each other, to form a box-like separation container 4 consisting of a first chamber 4g to a fourth chamber 4j. In the middle of a lower half of a vertical barrier wall 4f partitioning the chambers, a water flow opening 5 between adjoining chambers is provided, with its lower part acting as a slurry retaining part. A flow inlet 8 is provided at an upper peripheral surface 4a of the first chamber 4g and a flow outlet 9 is provided at the upper peripheral surface 4a of the fourth chamber 4j. An extra water discharge opening 11 is provided at the vertical barrier wall 4f being above a lower end of the flow outlet 9. A partition plate 12 having a size from the lower end to an upper end of the water flow opening 5 is provided at the center of the fourth chamber 4j to be parallel to the side surface wall 4b. The upper end of the extra water discharge opening 11 is higher than the upper end of the flow inlet 8. |
