<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform bidirectional power transit, in other words supply of power to an electrical load or recovery thereof, by controlling charging/discharging of a plurality of power storage devices, and to allow power delivery between the plurality of power storage devices without depending on voltage. <P>SOLUTION: A main circuit 3 of a power conversion device includes a power storage device charge/discharge device 4 in which AC sides of a plurality of power conversion units A and B are connected in series, with each power conversion unit containing power storage devices 10 and 15 and a plurality of semiconductor switching elements 11-14, 16-17, and a DC/DC converter 5 which is connected to the power storage device charge/discharge device for bidirectional power conversion. The power storage devices 10 and 15 are selectively connected in series to an input/output line of the power storage device charge/discharge device 4, to charge/discharge, for bidirectional power transit to/from a load. At the time of stopping of the power transit, a reactor 6 and a first semiconductor switching element 7 in the DC/DC converter 5 are used for power delivery between the two power storage devices 10 and 15, which accompanies step-up and step-down. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
