Disclosed are a method and system for managing an advanced metering infrastructure network, which can efficiently manage a number of devices connected to an advanced metering infrastructure network. The method for managing an advanced metering infrastructure network according to the present invention comprises the steps of: generating state information by using metering management modules included in a plurality of respective smart metering devices when an error occurs in the plurality of smart metering devices; transferring the state information to a management device corresponding to any one of an advanced metering infrastructure management device and at least one of data concentration device based on the type of network management based on which the plurality of smart metering devices are managed; and transmitting, by the management device, a control message to at least one device among the plurality of smart metering devices, and controlling the at least one device. |
