The present invention relates to a caliper housing which accommodates an inner pad and an outer pad performing close braking in correspondence to both sides of a disc by compression of a piston in a caliper, and has a housing finger supporting the outer pad. The housing finger comprises two of a first and a second finger supporting both sides of a lower part of the outer pad, and has an asymmetric structure that an area of a contact plane B where the second finger comes in contact with the outer pad at a trailing part is larger than an area of a contact plane A where the first finger comes in contact with the outer pad at a leading part, by referring to a center point of the outer pad. Moreover, in the contact plane B of the second finger coming in contact with the outer pad at the trailing part, an area of a lower contact plane D is larger than an upper contact plane C by referring to the center point of the outer pad. The caliper housing can expect the effect of reducing vibration and noise due to braking by improving contact pressure distribution of the outer pad, and also can expect the effect of improving fuel efficiency by drag reduction. |
