PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire abrasion detection device capable of accurately performing abrasion detection of a tread part.SOLUTION: A tire abrasion detection device includes a power source 18, a pair of electrodes 19 away from each other in the axial direction of a tire 6 and bonded to the inner peripheral surface of the tire 6 in a mutually insulated state, and a measurement circuit 17 measuring electrostatic capacity between the electrodes 19 when applying voltage from the power source 18 to the pair of electrodes 19. A sensor unit controller 14 of the tire abrasion detection device causes the measurement circuit 17 to measure the electrostatic capacity in a plurality of times, and performs abrasion detection of a tread part 7 by using the difference between the maximum value and the minimum value among the plurality of measured electrostatic capacity values. |
