[Class 38 (i)] [Also in Group XX] A holder for the projection lamp of kinematograph apparatus has a body 28 with an intermediate wall 40 and carries at the top a retaining ring 55 for a ring 54, rotatable by a finger-piece, not shown. The ring 54 has notches to allow passage of two projections 39 on the lamp base 38 as the lamp is inserted. Rotation of the ring 54 then latches the lamp in position. One contact 49 is secured by the screw 51 and lies in a groove 52 in the lampholder body. The other contact is a head 42 on a pin 41 pressed upwardly by a spring 44 and carrying at its lower end a plate 45 in which is a screw 46 sliding in a plain bore in the wall 40. |
