The present invention relates to a composition for preventing gray hair and alleviating leukoplakia and, more specifically, to a composition which promotes melanotrichia growth and prevents gray hair growth in advance by promoting melanin synthesis, and activates melanocytes through increasing the MITF expression of the melanocytes by comprising acetic acid 16-hydroxy-octadeca-9,17-diene-12,14-diynyl ester as an active ingredient.
