PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an inflow of exhaust gas to both exhaust turbo superchargers smooth to attain efficient supercharging in an entire rotation area, in an internal combustion engine including two large-sized and small-sized exhaust turbo superchargers.SOLUTION: Two exhaust turbo superchargers 10, 11 are arranged in a back-to-back manner, and inflow ports 18, 19 are opened toward a common passage 25. In the common passage 25, a rotary type valve body 28 is arranged. Exhaust gas discharged from a collection part 5b of an exhaust manifold 5 flows rectilinearly even into both of the inflow ports 18, 19 of the exhaust turbo superchargers 10, 11. Consequently, pressure loss is greatly reduced, and high supercharging efficiency can be attained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
