The present invention relates to a transparent, polyurethane-based biocidal coating for use on non-porous surfaces of healthcare construction elements, food industries, equipment, and furniture. The purpose of this invention is to inhibit the growth of microbes, bacteria, fungi, viruses, and yeasts, thereby preventing the spread of biofilm. This invention provides a proactive measure in the permanent antibacterial protection of the surfaces to which it is applied. |
