According to various embodiments of the present invention, an electronic device comprises: a display module functionally connected to the electronic device; and an object control module creating object property information based on a characteristic of an application and configuring and displaying an object for controlling at least some functions of the application based on the object property information when the application is executed. The present invention provides an electronic device capable of flexibly providing an object which is able to control an application based on an application feature.
