PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device, a control method, and a program capable of issuing an excessive loading warning highly convenient for a user without providing any sensor or the like for detecting the excessive loading.SOLUTION: The control device includes reception means for receiving print data via one of a plurality of interfaces, and notifying means for issuing a warning when the number of recorded media which is printed by the printing part of a printer based on the print data received by the reception means reaches a predetermined number.
