PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoacoustic apparatus capable of suppressing the effect of an intravascular blood volume on the accuracy of acquired subject information.SOLUTION: The photoacoustic apparatus according to the present invention comprises: an electric stimulation unit for applying a voltage to a subject; and a processing unit which sets a light irradiation timing such that the subject is at least once irradiated with pulsed light during a period from an irradiation start timing determined based on a voltage application start timing until first time between the voltage application start timing and the voltage application end timing elapses and the subject is not irradiated with pulsed light during the time other than the period from the irradiation start timing until the first time elapses.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
