PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print management system capable of reducing the time for inquiring of a print management server about the management state of a document.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: a printing section for generating a print by performing printing on a printing medium to which is added a tag from which information can be read and written; a writing section for writing management information for managing a print in a tag; and a communication section for transmitting the management information written in the tag to a print management server. A disposal device comprises: a reading section for reading management information from a tag of a print received; a shredding section for shredding the print; and a communication section for transmitting the management information read from the tag to the print management server. The print management server comprises: a storage section for storing a DB having the management information of a print registered therein; a timing section for giving notice of a setting date; communication section for receiving management information from the image forming apparatus and the disposal device; a print management section for updating the DB on the basis of the management information received; and a management report generation section for generating a management report of a print on the basis of the DB on the noticed day and outputting the report to a manager.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
