A clutch operating mechanism for a press, the press comprising a machine body (2) and a machine frame (1), the machine body (2) being provided with an electric motor (18), a crankshaft (11), a connecting rod (14), a sliding block (3), and a guide rail (4); the crankshaft (11) comprises a main shaft, a crank arm, and an eccentric shaft; the main shaft extends beyond two sidewall panels of the machine body (2), one end of the main shaft being provided with a brake (15), and the other end being provided with a clutch; the clutch is provided with a clutch operating mechanism for controlling the clutching of same; a transmission shaft (30) is provided with a flywheel (22); one end of the connecting rod (14) is hinged to the eccentric shaft, and the other end is connected to the sliding block (3) by means of a ball-head screw (31); the clutch operating mechanism comprises an electromagnet (5), a pull rod (6), and a manipulator (32); the manipulator (32) comprises a manipulator shaft (35), a manipulator gear (36) and a manipulator spring (34) being arranged in succession on the manipulator shaft (35); the manipulator gear (36) engages a manipulator toothed rack (37); the manipulator toothed rack (37) is connected to the upper end of the pull rod (6), and the electromagnet (5) is disposed below the pull rod (6). |
