A method for manufacturing a porous film that has a water content of less than 1000 ppm, said method including steps (1)-(3). (1) A step for obtaining a porous film (A) that has a water content of 1000 ppm or more. (2) A step for storing the obtained porous film (A) and a drying agent in a packing container that has a water vapour barrier property and obtaining a package by sealing the container. (3) A step for preserving the obtained package.
