An electric water heater having a pressure adjustment feature. A water tank (8) is made from non-metallic material by blow molding or injection molding, or is made from metallic material. A pressure adjuster (12) is provided on the water inlet path of the water tank (8). The pressure adjuster (12) is formed by a housing (12-1), a piston (12-2), a cap (12-3), and a rubber element (12-4). As the pressure inside of the water tank (8) changes, the position of the piston (12-2) inside of the housing (12-1) also changes. |
