PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active material for a nonaqueous electrolyte power storage device having a high discharge capacity and a superior charge/discharge cycle performance.SOLUTION: An active material for a nonaqueous electrolyte power storage device contains: a lithium transition metal complex oxide having a peak which can be regarded as belonging to a space group Fm-3m in an X-ray diffraction diagram, and expressed by the composition formula (1).
