PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove residual toner adhering to a residual toner discharge port.SOLUTION: A residual toner recovery device 300 includes a shutter member 340 for discharging the residual toner adhering to a photoreceptor drum from a residual toner discharge port 330, a toner recovery container 350 for receiving the residual toner discharged from the residual toner discharge port 330, and a rotary brush 400 for removing the residual toner adhering to the residual toner discharge port 330. When a user removes the toner recovery container 350, for replacement, the rotary brush 400 removes the residual toner adhering to the residual toner discharge port 330, so that the residual toner is hardly scattered.
