PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester resin that has a furandicarboxylic acid structure and has an excellent polymerization characteristic, rupture strength and transparency.SOLUTION: There is provided a polyester resin comprising a structural unit composed of the formula (1) and furandicarboxylic acid, and polyoxyalkylene having a number average molecular weight of 200 or more and 6000 or less, and in which the proportion of the latter structural unit is 0.5 mol% or more and 50 mol% or less.
