Provided is a conductive composition which has good fire-through properties and is capable of forming an electrode that exhibits good adhesion and bonding to a substrate. The present invention provides a conductive composition for forming an electrode for solar cells. This conductive composition contains a conductive powder, glass frit and vehicle. The glass frit has such a composition in terms of oxides, wherein the total of the following basic components, from 1 mol% to 20 mol% (inclusive) of PbO, from 35 mol% to 90 mol% (inclusive) of TeO2, from 0.1 mol% to 10 mol% (inclusive) of Bi2O3, from 0.1 mol% to 30 mol% (inclusive) of Li2O, from 0 mol% to 30 mol% (inclusive) of ZnO, from 0 mol% to 20 mol% (inclusive) of Mg, and from 0 mol% to 30 mol% (inclusive) of WO3, is 95 mol% or more of the whole glass frit. |
