<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay server for a patent search system for enabling a research developer on the job site to easily perform patent investigation using any language other than English by himself or herself without considering the connection destination. <P>SOLUTION: This relay server includes: significance calculation means (330) for calculating the significance of each word of consideration object patent data for extracting a significant word from the consideration object patent data; first patent classification determination means (335) for determining the patent classification of the consideration object patent data by using the significant word extracted based on the significance; first translation processing means (340) for specifying a technical dictionary by using the determined patent classification, and for translating the significant word into desired language by using the specified technical dictionary; first search formula generation means (345) for generating a search formula by using the significant word translated into the desired language; and first connection request generation means (350) for, with respect to a patent database server as a connection destination corresponding to the desired language, generating a connection request corresponding to the connection destination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
