The present invention relates to an apparatus for distributed processing of train monitoring traffic based on a hierarchical wireless sensor network, which can prevent a traffic bottleneck of sensor data which is generated in real time in a wireless sensor network over which operation state information of a train is transmitted in real time to ensure safe train operation. The apparatus for distributed processing of train monitoring traffic based on construction of a hierarchical wireless sensor network comprises: a wireless sensor node which generates sensor data by periodically measuring state information of a train; a wireless mesh network (WSN) management unit which classifies the sensor data as priority data or non-priority data by assigning the sensor data to a priority according to change characteristics, transmits the priority data to a sensor monitoring center via wireless communication, and transmits the non-priority data to a wireless mesh node via a wireless mesh network; and one or more wireless mesh nodes which are spaced apart at predetermined intervals on a railway side and transmit the non-priority data, received from the WSN management unit, to the sensor monitoring center. |
