The present invention relates to a blind for covering a terrace or the like in order to protect it from sunlight and rain. The blind comprises a plurality of slats (8) which are rotatable about their longitudinal axis (&KHgr;-&KHgr;') between a horizontal position in order to provide maximum shading from the sun and a tilted position in order to allow the maximum amount of sunlight through. The ends (12a, 12b) of the slats are displaceably held between two parallel guiding beams (4, 5) in order to move the slats in a tilted position towards one end of the guiding beams in order to provide the largest possible opening between the guiding beams and to allow the maximum amount of light through when this is desired. |
