The invention relates to a hydraulic fitting 1 for connecting a hose 5 to another part of a hydraulic system, such as a pipe or another hose. The hydraulic fitting comprises a body having a central channel extending between a connection end and a hose insertion end. The hose insertion end comprises a first cylindrical portion 2 for insertion into a hose 5, a second cylindrical portion 4 concentrically arranged around the outside of the first cylindrical portion 2, and a connecting flange 3 extending in radial direction between the first and second cylindrical portions at the end of the hose insertion end. The first cylindrical portion 2, the connecting flange 3 and the second cylindrical portion 4 are together a monolithic part and have an uniform wall thickness. A wire structure 6 can be arrange concentrically with the first cylindrical portion 2 and against the inner wall of the second cylindrical portion 4. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing a hydraulic fitting comprising deep drawing the first cylindrical part from a sheet metal blank, leaving a radially extending flange bordering the first cylindrical part. This is then folded down to form the second cylindrical part. |
