摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna device and electronic equipment that enable improvement of a transmission/reception characteristic with respect to a circularly polarized radio wave even under a mounting condition where a substrate area is small.SOLUTION: An antenna device includes: a dielectric chip antenna 20 mounted on a circuit board 10; and a film antenna 30 mounted on the circuit board 10 by positioning an antenna main part 32a of an antenna element 32 outside the circuit board 10, wherein the dielectric chip antenna 20 and the film antenna 30 are arranged so that polarization planes in a normal direction orthogonal to a principal surface of the circuit board 10 are approximately orthogonal to each other and electric power is fed from a feeding point to the dielectric chip antenna 20 and the film antenna 30 at a predetermined phase difference so that a circular polarization characteristic is possessed. With this construction, as compared with a case where two antennas are provided on a circuit board, a required substrate area is reduced. Also, even with a small substrate area, a superior transmission/reception characteristic is attained with respect to a circularly polarized radio wave of the GPS or the like.
