The present invention relates to a powerless speaker switch for a public address system. The powerless speaker switch is configured to eliminate a component of the existing speaker switch with external power, wherein the component is a DC power adaptor converting external AC power to DC power. In addition, the powerless speaker switch additionally comprises: a rectifier, a charging circuit; a Li-polymer battery; and a transformer configured to extract electric energy from a control signal of a speaker switch. According to the present invention, a user may solve a difficulty to connect the speaker switch to an adjacent power line to supply power to the speaker switch, when the user additionally installs the speaker switch in a public address system.
