The invention relates to food industry, particularly to processes for nutshell cracking by sawing up thereof, and can be used in the industrial processing of nuts.In the proposed process, according to the invention, the nuts are charged into a hopper with subsequent feeding on a conveying means. At the same time, the nuts are placed by the piece in the recesses of the conveying means with the possibility of rotation and projection about its surface. Using at least an elastic band, moving parallel to the conveying means, the nuts are pressed and rotated. Sawing up of the walnut shell is produced circumferentially with cutting means, for example, with a circular saw. Nuts with sawn off shell are unloaded from the conveying means into a receiving hopper for further processing.Nut feeding operations, movement of the conveying means and the elastic band and sawing up with cutting means are synchronized with each other. |
