The present invention relates to a recombinant self-assembling protein including a target-directive peptide and a use of the same. The recombinant self-assembling protein including a target-directive peptide according to the present invention does not need a step of additionally imparting target directivity, so a desired drug may be delivered to target tissue or target cells without using an assisting agent such as a chemical coupling agent or a stabilizer. Accordingly, the recombinant self-assembling protein including a target-directive peptide may be used for photothermal treatment, drug delivery, or imaging. In particular, according to the present invention, a metal-protein nanoparticle fused body in which gold nanoparticles having target directivity and uniform high density are coupled with the surface of a protein may be produced without an additional surface stabilizing step or target directivity imparting step. Compared to conventional gold nanoparticles, the metal-protein nanoparticle fused body according to the present invention exhibits structural stability with respect to a change in pH and a change in concentration and also has excellent target directivity. Thus, utilization of metal nanoparticles in photothermal treatment may be remarkably enhanced. |
