The present invention provides a ground structure for a walkway and a construction method thereof. According to an aspect of the present invention, the ground structure for a walkway forms a filling groove on one surface of an upper portion of a foot plate, fills an impact absorbing layer in the filling groove to increase a cushion feel of a walkway, encloses an outer circumferential surface of the foot plate to support the foot plate, and forms a reinforcement layer containing natural filaments to secure ground hardness to withstand a repeated load. |
