Disclosed in the present invention are a solvent for forming an organic light emitting layer and an organic electroluminescent diode using the same. The organic electroluminescent diode includes an organic light emitting layer, a first electrode for supplying holes to the organic light emitting layer, and a second electrode for supplying electrons to the organic light emitting layer. The organic light emitting layer is formed by using a solvent. The solvent contains a first solvent and a second solvent wherein the first solvent contains two groups selected among aromatic ester, aromatic ether, aromatic hydrocarbon, aromatic ketone or the like; and the second solvent contains aromatic ether. The solvent has an effect of facilitating discharge due to a low viscosity characteristic. |
