PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide selection method of antitumor agent and siRNA included therein.SOLUTION: A selection method of an antitumor agent for treating a tumor includes steps of: examining expression of MDM2 and/or MDM4 in a collected tumor cell; and selecting an inhibitor which suppresses expression of MDM2 and/or MDM4 as an antitumor agent when the expression of MDM4 is high in the extracted tumor cell or when the expression of MDM2 is low in the extracted tumor cell, and selecting an inhibitor which suppresses expression of MDM2 as an antitumor agent when the expression of MDM2 is high in the extracted tumor cell or when the expression of MDM4 is low in the extracted tumor cell.SELECTED DRAWING: None
