The invention relates to a fluid composition of high density meant to be used as a counterweight to counterbalance the load weight in a lifting mechanism. According to the invention, the composition is used to fill a metal box made of iron, (stainless) steel or pig iron, employed as a counterweight, and comprises a mixture of at least 15% dyestuff, at least 2% cement and 25% of a metallic component selected from among iron powder and steel wool or mixtures thereof, and 65%, at the most, recycled concrete-steel bars of various dimensions, the composition having a density in the range of 2.2...6.9 kg/m. |
