PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine with a waste heat recovery device capable of recovering energy from waste heat while suppressing increase of a weight.SOLUTION: An engine with a waste heat recovery device includes an internal combustion engine 2, a Rankine cycle 3 driven by waste heat from the internal combustion engine 2 and applying its torque to the internal combustion engine 2, a continuously variable transmission 4 decelerating so that rotation from the Rankine cycle 3 is synchronized with engine rotation, a clutch 6 for connecting and disconnecting a power transmission system 5 between the continuously variable transmission 4 and the internal combustion engine 2, and a control device 7 for connecting and disconnecting the clutch 6 on the basis of a waste heat temperature of the internal combustion engine 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
