PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display individual-oriented information with a proper degree of detail according to a situation around a device.SOLUTION: An information output device 1 receives device periphery information representing information on a periphery of an information display terminal 5, obtains a degree of device openness, which is an index representing a degree to which the information display terminal 5 is exposed to the eyes of an unspecified number of users, on the basis of the device periphery information, determines detail of information to be displayed on the basis of the degree of device openness, and converts and outputs information, which is displayed on the information display terminal 5, according to the detail. Accordingly, individual-oriented information can be displayed with a proper degree of detail according to the number of users, who exist around the information display terminal 5 which is hardly occupied by an individual and has a possibility of being exposed to the eyes of the other persons, or the users' attributes (acquaintances or strangers).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
