PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique by which intrusion of liquid, solid or the like from outside of a case to inside of the case can be accurately suppressed.SOLUTION: A driving unit comprises: a rotor 110 and a stator 120; a case 130 which accommodates the rotor 110 and the stator 120; a brake rotor 31 which is arranged outside of the case 130 and rotates in linkage with rotation of the rotor 110; a brake caliper 32 which stops rotation of the brake rotor 31 by coming into contact with the brake rotor 31; and a ventilation film 210 attached to the case 130 in which a plurality of holes are formed so that intrusion of liquid or solid from outside of the case 130 to inside of the case 130 is blocked and circulation of gas between inside of the case and outside of the case is allowed. The case 130 comprises: an output part 140 which supports the rotor 110; and a stator holding part 150 which supports the stator 120.
