PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice recognition error correction device capable of more accurately correcting a voice recognition error even if a similar expression is included in a document text.SOLUTION: A voice recognition error correction device 800 includes a preprocessing unit 811. The preprocessing unit 811 calculates distance representing similarity between a plurality of sequences about sequences of language elements included in the document text stored in a document text storage part, and detects similar sequences as to whether the calculated distance falls below a prescribed threshold. When the similar sequences are detected, warning information is outputted, and a correction proposal for solving similarity by operating the document test about at least any of the detected similar sequences is outputted. Also, the document text is corrected according to an instruction inputted from the outside.
