PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing reel that is incorporated with a strengthening member having abrasion resistance properties in a line guide connected to a level winder for making a fishing line be uniformly wound up in a spool and having a guide unit for guiding a passing fishing line.SOLUTION: A fishing reel comprises: a reel body with a spool; a level winder having a double helix shaft provided in the reel body in front of the spool; and a line guide having a body connected in the double helix shaft of the level winder and having a correspondence fastening unit, and a guide unit provided in an upper part of the body and a fishing line passing therethrough.
