PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a covered electric wire that improves connection quality between it and a terminal.SOLUTION: A covered electric wire 10 comprises a central conductor 20 and a cover layer 30 that slightly movably covers the central conductor 20. The covered electric wire 10 further comprises a reduced diameter part 40 formed by reducing the diameter of the cover layer 30 in the vicinity of one end part 11 of the covered electric wire 10 and firmly fixing the central conductor 20 and the cover layer 30 to each other, and a lead-out part 50 formed by removing a part closer to the end part 11 side than the reduced diameter part 40 in the cover layer 30 to expose the central conductor 20 to the outside.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
