The present invention relates to an apparatus for removing the outer skin of a fruit tree which peels off the outer skin of a fruit tree to prevent the fruit tree from blight caused by harmful insects living in the outer skin. The apparatus comprises: a main body having a handle with an on/off switch; a driving unit including a motor operated by the control of the switch, a plurality of gears interlocking according to the operation of the motor, and a rotary shaft rotating by the operation of the gears and arranged inside the main body; an outer skin removing unit coupled to the rotary shaft of the driving unit to operate and peeling off the outer skin of a fruit tree; and an escape preventing member coupled to the end of the rotary shaft protruding toward the outside of the main body with a screw thread so as to prevent an escape of the outer skin removing unit mounted on the rotary shaft. The apparatus is easy to move to a workplace due to the simple constitution, and is simple to use as a worker can hold the apparatus with one hand to use. In addition, the apparatus can remove a large area of the outer skin at a time as the outer skin removing unit has a curved shape same as the fruit tree, and thereby the present invention is very useful. |
