The present invention provides a method for controlling flash timing of an extension flash module in cooperation with a mobile device. The method comprises the steps of: detecting a specific event, wherein a time period from time at which the specific event occurs to time at which exposure of a first row of a photo sensor starts is a constant; determining whether one single flashable time period exists, wherein one flash can be received by all rows of the photo sensor; performing one single flash after delay time from the time at which the specific event occurs when the single flashable time period exists; and, when the single flashable time period is absent, performing first flash after delay time from the time at which the specific event occurs, and performing second flash after delay time from time at which the first flash is performed. |
