FIELD: engines and pumps.SUBSTANCE: valve cover for internal combustion engine is made mainly of plastic. It comprises housing 1 with oil filling and drain 13 holes and cavity of labyrinth oil separation from crankcase gases. This cavity is formed by detachable cap with ribs installed on housing 1 and bosses 9 of housing 1 with ribs. In labyrinth separation cavity there is vacuum valve assembly with diaphragm and spring. Also in cavity of labyrinth separation inlet holes separator 10 is arranged provided with shields at housing 1 boss 9. Ribs of cap and housing 1 boss 9 are inclined to their walls, wherein drain hole 13 is communicated with drain channel made in housing 1 boss 9. On both sides of drain channel there are plates with holes at angle with possibility of flow acceleration and swirl of crankcase gases for additional oil separation and draining oil along drain channel into drain hole 13.EFFECT: providing stable position of diaphragm valve cover and high reliability of valve cover operation.4 cl, 7 dwg |
