The present invention provides a technology by which the irregular brightness of a pixel can be lessened in a case where a driving circuit, which switches a gate line to a selected or a non-selected state, is provided in the pixel. An active matrix substrate of the present invention is provided with, in each pixel PIX, a pixel-use switching element 10 and a pixel electrode PXB. Further, in the active matrix substrate, a plurality of driving circuits which switch one gate line to a selected or a non-selected state are disposed in pixels, and control wiring 16 which supplies a control signal to the driving circuits is disposed in the pixels. The driving circuits each includes a plurality of switching elements and internal wiring netA. The control wiring 16 which is connected to the driving circuit, and at least a portion of driving circuit wiring of the internal wiring netA in such driving circuit are disposed near the pixel-use switching element 10. Potential does not fluctuate at the timing at which a gate line 13 connected to this pixel-use switching element 10 enters into a non-selected state. |
