摘要 A vertical alignment liquid crystal display device and manufacturing method thereof. The vertical alignment liquid crystal display device comprises a first substrate (1), a second substrate (2), a liquid crystal layer (3) arranged between the first substrate (1) and the second substrate (2), a first and a second passivation layer (11, 21) respectively arranged on the inner side of the first substrate (1) and the second substrate (2), and a common electrode layer (12) and a pixel electrode layer (22) respectively arranged on the first and the second passivation layer (11, 21); the liquid crystal layer (3) comprises liquid crystal molecules (30), an auxiliary alignment agent (31), and a polymer network (33) passing through the entire liquid crystal layer (3); the auxiliary alignment agent (31) causes the liquid crystal molecules (30) to be vertically aligned on the surface of the first and the second substrate (1, 2); the polymer network (33) stabilises the alignment of the liquid crystal molecules (30), enhancing the vertical alignment effect of the auxiliary alignment agent (31) on the liquid crystal molecules (30).
